WEB UPDATING
| • | Fixed a problem where loading a new program after a web update causes Access 97 runtime to crash. |
| • | If a program update is downloaded in the web update, an update prompt is given immediately instead of after reopening AA. |
| • | The new program file update prompt appears before data file relinking, to save startup time. |
| • | Forced group users to select a data file after updating the program version, to avoid clients automatically clicking Cancel and getting into data file troubles. Also disabled irrelevant buttons. |
| • | Revised web links and web update to work with new website. |
| • | Built in the ability for selected clients to access beta versions via the web update function, to avoid downloading/unzipping. |
| • | Adjusted the Web Update username changing function to accept changes from lower to upper case. |
| • | Included username in the <View computer ID> details on Web update form (for troubleshooting). |
| • | After the web (or disk) update completes successfully, the form closes automatically. |
FILE MANAGEMENT
| • | Added a new function to archive snapshot files to a \SnapshotArchive subfolder, divided into year categories. This is so that the archive folder is not often updated, and will not require regular backing up. Maintenance > Drive cleanup. |
| • | Changed the default satellite file name to AAUser_DoctorsName.mdb. Previously the doctor's initials were used but this could confuse if two drs had similar names. |
| • | Prevented the multiuser version being able to restore data from a single user file (need to use the Select Provider > Import function instead). Modified the Restore function to allow restoring unzipped .aau and site files. Existing files are backed up before being replaced. |
| • | Prevented the user from creating a provider's file with a name greater than 45 characters, which may cause problems. |
| • | If the AASite or AAUser files are open when backing up, an appropriate prompt is given, instead of an error message. Also adjusted the messages that are given when a backup fails. |
| • | Revised the unexpected error message box, and added a manual screen capture button. |
| • | The maintenance log filter allows filtering by account prefix. |
| • | The filtered maintenance log can be saved to an Excel file. |
| • | Added a function on the Maintenance Menu to email last 3 months error messages to Healthbase. |
| • | Function to add the program path to the Access 2007 Trust Centre via the Windows registry (Eclipse > Adv Dev access). |
