An In-hospital flag has been added to each account. This allows for in-rooms consultation items to be shown as out-of-hospital services, while most hospitals would be flagged as providing inpatient services.
Each item on the Items page can also be flagged as an in- or out-of-hospital service, and an asterisk is shown next to each item number to indicate an in-hospital service. This can be removed/reinserted by double clicking on it. The asterisk is shown on printed accounts. This allows for both in- and out-of-hospital services to appear on one account if required.
The in-hospital flag (Operation page) determines whether the MBS rebates on the Fee page are 75% (in) or 85% (out).
