Preliminary Eclipse Information

ECLIPSE functions have been integrated into Access Anaesthetics from version 3.9. These were extensively tested by the Health Insurance Commission in August/September and the system was given approval for release in October. However, a new version of the Eclipse software was also released by the HIC in October. This contained a significant number of enhancements including paperless transactions for DVA and more extensive patient verification procedures. We decided to hold off releasing the Eclipse functions until these newer features were incorporated.

Although we have disabled the Eclipse functions in this version (3.9), we have included the new tab on the Account Details screen which is used for the Eclipse functions. This will provide a basic idea of how the system will work.
