DVA Fees

From 1 Jan 2005, the DVA increased fees for NON-anaesthetic items by 15-20%. RVG items were not changed.

If you normally use the MBS method of remuneration for DVA accounts, you should select the fund DVA_RMFS from the Health Fund Fees list on the Items page. This will insert the updated fees into the fund fee boxes (yellow). Note that anaesthesia fees will not change. Then select the DVA_RMFS fee on the Fee page.

If you use the time-based fees method (the purple page) any items you enter which attract the greater fees will show the greater fee. The time-based fees will be calculated in the usual manner.

You need to have the health fund fees table of Jan 28 or later for these functions to work.
