Project Database to manage a human resources call-centre What we did The Employee Services Unit call centre handles hundreds of telephone, over-the-counter and mail enquiries each day from staff in south-eastern Sydney hospitals in relation to pay and employment matters. We created an automated Access 97 logging system to record and report on the enquires and how they are resolved. Special features
- System to be operated by multiple users on a network.
- Call are logged and flagged for attention by staff task groups.
- Members of staff tasks groups automatically access individual lists of tasks referred to their group and process them in an organised manner.
- User level security implemented to control access to specific parts of system.
