AAQuotes - MBS/RVG lookup and fee quoting system

The Australian Anaesthesia Fee Quoting System, AAQuotes is an offshoot of Access Anaesthetics. It contains an MBS/RVG items database which includes all items of interest to anaesthetists. Full descriptions, fees, unit values and health fund fees are provided. The quoting system allows you to set up standard procedures with specific items. You can dynamically adjust the items, procedure time, modifiers, premed and so on, to obtain an accurate fee estimate for MBS, RVG and health fund rebates.

Now available for both Pocket PC (requires HanDBase) and Palm (requires HanDBase or SmartList To Go).

This version includes the Nov 2004 Medicare file and Feb 2005 Health funds.

HanDBase and SmartList To Go

AAQuotes requires that you obtain either HanDBase or 'SmartList To Go' from their developers. We currently recommend HanDBase for both Palm and Pocket PC. Click here for further information. These generic database cost US$30 - US$50 and can be used for many other medical functions as well as Access Anaesthetics and AAQuotes. There is no additional charge for AAQuotes. SmartList has a 15 day trial version and HanDBase has a 30 day trial version to enable you to get the system running before paying the fee.
