Important Notes:

Since HanDBase runs on both Palm and Pocket PC operating systems, we may consider discontinuing development of the SmartList To Go versions of Access Anaesthetics and AAQuotes. Consequently, for new users, we recommend the HanDBase system for both Palm and Pocket PC. Read more about HanDBase below, then click here to go to the download page.
If you are already using the SmartList To Go version for the Palm, you do not need to do anything; it will not stop functioning and we will continue to support it.

AAQuotes

If you don't have Access Anaesthetics, but would like to try our free MBS/RVG lookup and quoting system AAQuotes, click here. Versions are now available for both the Palm and Pocket PC. As with Access Anaesthetics, you will need to obtain either HanDBase or SmartList To Go (see below).

HanDBase

The latest version of HanDBase (3.0) was released in late 2002 and costs approx US $40. It will work on both Palm and Pocket PC platforms. There were numerous bugs in the early releases, but it is now stable enough for use with Access Anaesthetics (although a few bugs remain). Download and install the Professional version for Palm or Pocket PC from the DDHSoftware website before installing the Access Anaesthetics files. You can use the trial version for 30 days before committing yourself to buying it.

At the time of release of our Access Anaesthetics files for HanDBase, HanDBase was up to version 3.0I. This contains a bug which was fixed in version 3.0J. Since the J version has not yet been released, you will also need to download the following file HBBugFix.exe. This should be unzipped into your C:\Program Files\HanDBase3\Sync Exchange folder. (If you installed HanDBase into a non-default folder, you may need to change this unzip folder before unzipping.) Do this before trying to synchronize your HanDBase files.

If you are just going to use our quoting system, you can use HanDBase Plus (rather than Professional) and do not need to worry about the bug fix mentioned in the previous paragraph.

SmartList To Go

The handheld Palm database 'SmartList To Go' is available from www.dataviz.com. It costs approx US$50 but has a trial version which will operate for 15 days to enable you to get the system running before paying the fee. Since SmartList To Go does not run on the Pocket PC, we may cease to develop on this platform in the future. Consequently, we recommend that new users install the HanDBase version instead.
