 Eclipse

Eclipse is available now for clients running version 4.7 or later of Access Anaesthetics. We have so far only contacted clients who indicated that they wished to be involved in the testing phase. A general communication will be sent to all clients in due course.

The steps required to get Eclipse running are ...

  1. Register with Medicare Australia as described on this page.

  2. After registering, install the Medicare files described on this page.

  3. Install the latest version of Access Anaesthetics from our Test Site.

  4. Set up Access Anaesthetics to use Eclipse as described here.

More comprehensive instructions are given in the Eclipse Online Manual.

Let us know how you are going, as we need to iron out the installation procedures before releasing Eclipse to our other clients.

Once you have sent your first online claim, you will be eligible for a grant payment from Medicare of $750 (metro) or $1000 (rural) as described here. There is only one payment for any practice location, not for each doctor at the practice location. Contact the Medicare eBusiness office on 1800 700 199.
