DOWNLOAD PROGRAM UPDATES

Use these updates if you already have Access Anaesthetics. If you don't, go to the Trial Version Page. You should also obtain the latest MBS items and health fund files. These files are password protected. Registered clients can find the password in the email notification of the update, or by contacting HealthBase. Satellite clients should obtain the password from their practice manager.

For Access 97 and Runtime, download aa97u46.exe (2.9 MB)

For Access 2000-2007, download aa00u46.exe (2.7 MB)

These files are password protected. Registered clients can find the password in the email notification of the update, or by contacting HealthBase.

After downloading, double click on the downloaded file and follow the instructions. If you have AA running on multiple networked computers, you need to do this update on each computer. Click here for more detailed installation instructions. After installing the update, click What's New on the Help menu to read about the changes in this version.

An earlier update (3.4) included a completely revised help file. This contained comprehensive screen images from the program itself. If you don't already have it, download the complete help file here --> AAHelpUpdate.exe (3.3 MB).

Problems installing Version 3.6 or 3.7?

If you get any of the following error messages when you start Access Anaesthetics after updating to Version 3.6 or 3.7, download and install the following file ---> ActiveXZipFix.exe (200 KB). This installs ActiveXZip on your computer without requiring the more up-to-date Windows installer software.

ActiveX component can't create object ...
An ActiveX component could not be installed successfully (ActiveXZip) ...
The following message may appear repeatedly and ask you to close and reopen Access Anaesthetics ... "A new component to manage zipping and unzipping of files has just been installed..."

Problems installing Version 3.7?

If you have a problem with your live update process where the updated program file cannot be installed correctly, download this Version Update Tool and unzip it to your Access Anaesthetics folder. Then try the update process again. For networked systems, install this utility onto each PC.

Problems with live Web Update

If you get an error message 'Can't find System.mdw', proceed as follows. Download and unzip the Version Update Tool from the paragraph above. Copy the file AA97.mde from the folder \Access Anaesthetics\LiveUpdate\LatestProgram to the \Access Anaesthetics folder. Then start Access Anaesthetics in the usual way. This error may happen with some 97 runtime installations.
